Kamal Kishore Sarda

Kamal Kishore Sarda, born on 12 June, 1952, did his Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering from National Institute of Technology (formerly Vishveshvarya Regional College of Engineering), Nagpur, MH, India. He has also taken courses in Strategic Management and Human Resources from IIM, Ahmedabad and XLRI, Jamshedpur.
Mr. Sarda has over three decades of experience in the iron and steel industry. He is the Chairman of SEML's Board and Managing Director and is responsible for steering SEML towards the path of growth. Since, taking over SEML (erstwhile Raipur Alloys & Steel Ltd.), he has been instrumental in turning around the company and expanding its product portfolio to include high value added steel products, minerals and energy.
He is associated with the Friends of Tribal Society in the capacity of Vice President of the Raipur chapter and was the Ex-Chairman of Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), Chhattisgarh Chapter. |

Amal Kumar Debnath

Mr. Amal Kumar Debnath, s/o. Late Shri Atul Chandra Debnath, aged 67, resident of Kolkata,
has done B.Tech in Mining from Indian School of Mines and also holds 1st Class Mine Manager Certificate from DGMS, Dhanbad.
He had a long career spanning more than 39 years with Central Coalfields Ltd., Ranchi (CCL) and Central Mine Planning & Design Institute Ltd.
(HQ), Ranchi (CMPDI). He joined CCL in 1976 as JET and finally retired as Chairman cum Managing Director from CMPDI in 2015. During his tenure
he has worked in areas like, underground production, safety, ventilation, mine management, mine planning – Underground & Opencast,
EIA/EMPs, tender finalization,mechanization (introduction of New Technology) like Longwall technology, Continuous Miner, Surface Miner,
High wall mining, Higher site HEMM like 42 cum shovel with 240T dumper combination, etc.
He has also worked on underground planning & design, introduction of new technology in association with UK,
France, Poland, Germany, Canada, Russia, Australia etc.
During his tenure at CMPDI, he has worked in areas like, providing consultancy services to CIL & outside agencies in the field
of mine planning and design, environmental and allied engineering services, promotion & coordination of research in the coal sector,
extending remove sensing services for land reclamation, monitoring and environmental data generation. Under his effective supervision,
for the first time in Jharkhand, Waste Paper Recycling Plant has been installed at CMPDI and took initiative for commissioning of
Solar Power Plant as well. He represented CMPDI at various national and international forum on technical issues like being the Co-chair with USA
in respect of Global Methane Initiatives, etc.During his tenure at CMPDI as its head, MOU rating of CMPDI (as evaluated by DPE) has continuously been
‘Excellent’ since 2012-13. Additionally, during his tenure at CMPDI,other major achievements were carrying out the highest exploratory drilling
of 8.28 lakh meter in 2014-15, UNFC Classification of the coal in CIL areas, NPV/Intrinsic value calculation of de-allocated coal blocks leading
to its allocation based on competitive bidding, etc.

Mr. Binoy Parikh, s/o. Shri Sandip Ashvin Parikh, aged 31 Years, is a Chartered Accountant and a Law Graduate from Gujarat University.
He has a rich working experience at KPMG, PwC and Katalyst Advisors in the areas of Mergers & Acquisitions transaction advisory, family settlements, succession planning.
Mr. Parikh has authored various articles in relation to M&A and Succession Planning, has been a speaker / mentor on various physical/ online webinars organized by ICAI,
Taxsutra, Bettering Results, LawSikho, etc.

Mr. Padam Kumar Jain, Wholetime Director of the Company is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and an Associate Member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India with 28 years’ experience in the field of finance, accounting, costing, secretarial matters, taxation and corporate laws.
He has been part of the top management team of the company in its journey of growth. He is associated with Company for more than 20 years. He is also the Chief Financial Officer of the Company.

He has nearly 40 years of experience across power sector value chain. During his long career, he has worked in various capacities with entities like – Chairman & Managing Director – Power Finance Corporation (PFC),Chairman - Energy Efficiency Services Ltd (EESL),Chairman & Managing Director – Rural Electrification Corporation Ltd. (REC) ,General Manager – Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd. She has also served as Woman Director of Chhattisgarh State Power Generation Company Ltd., Chhattisgarh State Power Distribution Company Ltd. and Chhattisgarh State Power Holding Company Ltd. |

Mr. Upendra Prasad Singh has done B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering and M. Tech in Industrial & Management Engineering from prestigious IIT Kanpur
Mr. Singh, belongs to 1985 batch of Indian Administrative Service, born in Odisha Cadre. After a distinguished service of more than 37 years in IAS, Shri Singh superannuated as Secretary to Government of India, Ministry of Textiles, on 31st October 2022. Mr. Singh holds the distinction of being one of the longest serving Secretary to Government of India, from 01.12.2017 to 31.10.2022.
Mr. Singh has also served as Secretary, Department of Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation, Ministry of Jalshakti for more than three years. He has spent more than 6 years in water sector, both in the State and the Centre, including more than 3 years as Secretary to Govt of India. He was also first Director General of National Mission for clean Ganga.
Mr. Singh has a rich experience of corporate sector. He headed a number of Public Sector Enterprises, both at Centre & State and was a Director on the Board of a number of companies including Maharatna and Navratna Companies.
Mr. Singh has been a Govt Nominee Director on the Boards of Allahabad Bank, United Bank of India, Steel Authority of India, KIOCL Ltd, ONCG and Oil India. He was also in additional charge of CMD OIL INDIA, now a Maharatna Company for about a year. During his incumbency as CMD Oil India he was instrumental in acquisition of two foreign assets Vankorneft& TAAS Yuryakh in Russia.
Mr. Singh also headed a few state PSUs such as Tribal Development Co-operative Corporation Ltd., Odisha State Civil Supplies Corporation Ltd. and Odisha Mining Corporation.
